As the year draws to a close, we’re building momentum and continuing conversations with partners, members, and the attendees of our retreat in November.
Inter Astra is now a Non-Profit:
‘Inter Astra Institute’
We're officially a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, having submitted our tax-exempt status request to the IRS.
This is a big step towards creating more equitable access and opportunities in the business of space.
New Website = Your Place : In Space
The #1 Global Community for The Business of Space
Our mission is to be the number one platform for discovering how you can play a role in the business of space.
We’re focussed on doing that in three ways:
1. Our annual in-person retreat.
Each year we bring together new voices and leading experts to open a new chapter for discovery, partnership, and collaboration.
2. Satellite events.
A mix of in-person and online events. We’ll also have an official presence at other events (more below).
3. Podcast.
A weekly accessible take on the business of space.

Inter Astra Retreat
We’ll announce the venue/dates for the 2024 retreat in Q1.
Satellite Events
We’re in the process of finalizing our first event: “The Science of Faith, and the Faith of Science”.
This will be a small in-person event, in Washington DC in Q1 of 2024.

Emerging Leaders
The Young Contributors made such an impact at the retreat, we’ve committed to developing a new Emerging Leaders Program.
They will be known as ‘Emerging Leaders’ moving forward.
